Chemist and perfumer D.R Harris & Co. Ltd., one of London's oldest pharmacies, has been in St James's Street for over 200 years and is Esquire magazine's apothecary of choice in London. This family-owned business has served the gentry and the court of St. James since its inception in 1790 and now holds the warrant to HRH The Prince of Wales.

Their distinctive house range includes the classic Arlington line popular with gentlemen of all ages, based on a typically English fragrance of citrus and fern, and the Marlborough line, with a woodier scent of cedar and sandalwood. The rich shaving creams will produce an amazing amount of lather from a small amount when used with a shaving brush. All shaving soaps are triple milled to be long lasting and give a rich lather and come in both wooden bowls stick form for travel use. A shave using D R Harris products should be completed with their famous after shave milk to gently soothe the skin.

In addition to the shaving product line up, D R Harris also produces the legendary Cucumber and Roses Milk - a light moisturiser for normal to oily skin - as part of its skin care line. The majority of the products are still produced by traditional methods, being hand-made and packed in its own premises in London.
