PLEASE NOTE WE ARE NO LONGER HOSTING BOARD SEMINARS
Learn the art of professionally presenting yourself.
Many professional men are becoming more and more aware of the need to present their best self at work, whether it's for interviews, presentations, important meetings or promotions. At Art of Man we believe First Impressions Count and want to help you look your best. Feeling good and knowing you look good boosts your confidence in any situation but men often lack the right information to achieve this. So we present the following specific seminars to fill this gap:-
The Best Shave Ever
Our experience tells us that men don't appreciate that a good wet shave with a proper shave cream, razor and brush, gives you a smoother, closer shave than one with a disposable or electric razor. Not to mention it reduces problems like ingrown hairs, razor burn etc. Guys just haven't been taught the fundamentals of a good wet shave. A good wet shave is ultimately about the right preparation and products and once you have made the investment of time in learning you'll never go back to an electric or disposable razor.
Proper Male Skincare
Male skin needs just as much care as female skin – and the fact that the skin is the body's largest organ is of course as true for men as for women. And here in Australia, where the sun can cause so much damage, guys should be even more aware of the need to take care of their skin. This seminar is about the basics – knowing your skin type and knowing how to look after it with the simple steps of cleansing, moisturising and protection.
A Beginner's Guide to Fragrances
A seminar to guide men through the maze of fragrances out there and discover which ones they like as well as how to wear fragrances properly for any occasion.
First Impressions Count
The old adage that a stranger makes up their mind about you within the first few seconds of meeting you couldn't be truer – this seminar goes through the basics you need to consider (grooming, scent, style, manners) to make the best possible first impression.
Seminars are presented either in your boardroom or another mutually convenient location provided by you (e.g. a gallery space, a private room in a restaurant). Each seminar is intended for a group of 6-12 people and run for up to 1 hour. Guests will be provided with samples and information sheets. Depending on the seminar requested, there may be specific needs that we will discuss with you (e.g. access to running water for shaving seminar, prior access to venue for set up).
